Where are you located?

I work in and out of Calgary, Alberta Canada and surrounding areas.  With  no additional charges for travel up to 25km from Calgary.

Do you offer Wedding photography services?

Weddings are a priority for our highest level of attention to detail and quality.  We work by coming along side you as an advocate to ensure a memorable and stress-free flow to your event, and for the life-long images you will receive.  Creating a family heirloom in these pictures that can be enjoyed for generations is our commitment to you at this happy time.

Can you shoot corporate events?

I have several years of experience working with collaborative design events for business of all sizes.  Included in that process are all facets of created knowledge capture and transfer to the event sponsor.  This is a demanding and precise function that I find immensely satisfying when done to high standards.

Do you have any experience with Sports Photography?

Photographing both indoor and outdoor team sports has been a passion of mine for many years now.  Each presents a unique challenge in lighting, weather and location.  I also have engaged in photographing motors sports at different venues in Calgary.

Can you shoot Graduation Pictures?

I can produce Graduation portraiture on location, either in a formal studio setting, or on site at the institution for individuals or entire classes of grandaunts.  This is always a great time in a student’s life to create such remembrances.

Do you photograph Animals, Pets?

I love to come to where your livestock or pets are located and photograph them in the surroundings they are used to.  It makes for a more relaxed and stress-free time for the animals.

How far ahead do I have to book you?

Many clients looking for Wedding or Professional Corporate photography services book up to one year in advance, but last-minute bookings are not uncommon.  I always suggest that you call as soon as you know the possibility exists, and at least we can set a tentative date for you to work with.  Placing a retainer on the date guarantees your priority.

Do you work with other service providers?

I have worked with Event planners, Caterers, Videographers and other brilliant Photographers on many occasions.  I can recommend several options for the many questions you may have for your specific needs.

Do you shoot film or digital?

I have both film and digital tools at my disposal for a variety of purposes.  Most of my clientele appreciate the very high quality and speed that digital photography provides as well as the great cost savings passed on.  I do however maintain 35mm film equipment should the need ever present itself.  As a traditional medium it lends itself to virtually any situation.

What kind of turn-around time can I expect on my pictures?

We make your images available to view and select within 24 hours of the event completion, unless otherwise arraigned.  Most of the time, these are ready in 8-12.   Final Lab products vary based on external factors, but we do try to expedite these whenever possible.

Are you familiar with special effects in photography?

I maintain a variety of special effects filters, and lenses to create a wide assortment of visual effects, from classic softly rendered daylight images, exquisitely tinted winter scenes to brilliant star effects of night shots.  Whatever the desired results are we can build that for you.  Special effect photography does however often require additional shooting time.

Can you provide authenticated (data integrity verifiable) images for legislative, judicial, or insurance purposes?

I primarily use the Canon Series of Digital SLR cameras which are equipped with EXIF “original decision” data that allows them to be examined and verified as to either having been altered in any way, or not.  This Encrypted digital signature guarantees the image likeness to the same degree as film, and preserves the chain of evidence for any legal or civil situations.

Do you sell or recommend photographic equipment?

I am always on the lookout for great deals on new and used equipment and am always willing to help you pick and choose tools that meet your unique needs.

Do you teach photographic techniques?

I train students on an individual or classroom level basis, the fundamentals of modern digital photography and have run events for photo enthusiast groups including contests and photo-treasure hunts.

Do you have a stock photography library available?

I have an extensive library of favorite images that my clientele are welcome to select from.  If there are categories you don’t see please ask as I am adding sections to the library weekly and may have what you need ready but not posted as yet.

Can you do film, and slide conversions to Digital?

Absolutely, we maintain slide and film scanning equipment in our studio for converting most 35mm negatives or positives to a digital format.
